“Let’s go for a ride,’ he said softly, as he pulled me out the door.

It was cold; big fluffy flakes like dreams falling thickly.

Driving, he barely spoke, did not even turn the radio on. I reached for it but he pushed my hand away.

We stopped at the side entrance of the oldest graveyard in town. I thought we were going somewhere. I had strolled around that place for years.

Arm in arm, we walked down the freshly shoveled paths. I heard the soft muffle of our footsteps. Not a bird was chirping, no movement but the dancing snow.

Veering left, he led me across the frozen grass to the old Knopf family crypt. It was still in good shape, unlike the Phillips across from it and the other crumbling angels monuments of years gone by. Not anyone left on those ancient trees to tend to the upkeep.

Suddenly, he turned, grabbed me, kissed me. His lips were chilled and his breath was hard. Not soft, as he normally was when he opened his mouth to me.

Placing his right hand on top of my head, he pushed, and began to sink, so I followed him. To my knees, then onto my back.

He did not speak, he just stared. Long moments without a blink. Only partially supported on his elbows, his weight pressing me down.

The cold seeped into my coat, my skin. I felt it easing into my muscles, wrapping lovingly around my joints.
I began to shiver.

His lifted his hips, making room for his hands, that slid up my skirt. A fresh blast of wind hit my always cold thighs.

Teeth chattering a tear seeping form the corner of my eye, I stared back, confused. Then defiant.

Then, a warm coal. Heat, pushing into me.

Dazed from the snow falling onto me, I hung onto it, welcomed it.

I turned my head and took at the ruined, worn tombstone to the right of me. And felt that I was next.

“Where are you? “he asked.

“Home,” I replied.

“Are you afraid? When you are in the ground, I cannot warm you this way.”

I paused.

And truthfully told hm ‘no.’

There he took me. His eyes radiating an acceptance of death, his body cushioned from the hard cold  ground by my softness.

Offering me his tongue, I tasted ice.

Looking up at the sky, blinded by the snow, I felt the stone angels, blinded by time, sigh softly, gently  for me.

Butters on South Park has joined the Vamp clique of his school.

They took him to Hot Topic, dyed his hair and gave him plastic fangs.

In the meantime, the Goth kids are getting heat, as if they are Vamps.

Butters has went bonkers and  is trying to bite Cartman on the neck, to assuage his thirst.

The Goth kids now are trying to clean up their image, by taking the head Vamp out.

Priceless.

Behind you, I slip easily into your ass.

As you gasp with pleasure, I notice the silky fine skin of your sinuous back.

I want to peel it off, strip by strip, until your back is as bare as my soul has become.

Move

I thought for just a moment that you had made progress.

No, it was a delusion. Like everything in this place. I watch my fingers slide right through my hopes like air.

Every step you take away from the abyss breaks yet another link in the chain that binds us.

In every way I can, I urge you to not fuck up, to not let yourself lose control.  don’tdon’t'don’t , I whisper, as I chew my knuckles to the bone and urge you to contain your emotions, curb your actions.

For it is you that keeps me here.

But that chain, I drag it, it is wound around my heart and guts and it is so heavy.

After your last episode, I dropped to my knees and looked to the sky.

I did not know I was crying, until I felt my salty tears,  burning the skin of my torn knuckles.

I stuffed my fingers in my mouth to stifle my screams of longing for my home.

My time here is done.

One has been saved, one has been diverted and one has been awakened.

I have completed my tasks and am released from this purgatory of flesh.

Now I depart for my Father’s House. Do not reach for me, as I have yet to rise.

But stand still and watch my ascent.

Home. Back to my home I am finally able to flee.

Fare thee all well.

Bowed

In the dark silence of the night, I approached the Throne. As always, it was alit from the Prescence and awash in lilting tones of the Choir.

Falling to my knees, I felt the Voice caress my mind, ever so gently.

My request was simple and spare-free me.

I began to tremble, for I was not exactly sure if I was in or out of my right mind at this stage. For so long, I have sloughed and stumbled. For every gain, it was followed by a misstep.

“Why?”

“There is not more to be done,” I quietly answered. “He has swam the very depths and now, with a renewed awareness of his frality, he is coming back to life. he is no longer lost.”

I was not ready for the answer. “Go forth, as you have done your duty.”

Suddenly my heart stopped. It had been stilled with joy.

Rising to go, I was enbraced by a new thought: There are others. When it is time, you will do as you should.”I felt my heart begin its frantic pace once again.

Ascend

I fell asleep, finally. There were no more tears to be shed. Cold as the rocks upon which I leaned, I sat, despondent. The day came, and slowly went. I watched it rise and ebb away, until it was dark. Finally, I collapsed, as the blanket of sleep stealthily covered my body.

Suddenly, so it seemed,  I heard You, saying my name. Opening my eyes, I saw You there. Alive, whole, right before of me.
